Yes you! We want to know about you! Tell us about yourself and what makes you tick. Here's a couple of ideas to get you started! 1. What's your name? 2. What do you do for a living? 3. What are you doing with your life? 4. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? What's important though is that we get to know you... preferably the REAL you. We Sega Gamers got to learn to trust each other!

I am new to the retro gaming scene so my collection is very small. I love SEGA! My additional hobbies include Godzilla, Doctor Who, Sci-Fi, Blu Ray movies, Conan (REH) Solomon Kane (REH) archaeology (I love history) Geology. My favorite game EVER is Phantasy Star. I love the Sega Master system and intend that to be my focus in my retro gaming pursuit.

Hi, my name is Tom! I live in Derbyshire England. I work in IT also but as a Lead Infrastructure Analyst.
I've been collected since late 2001 but didn't get back into collecting for the Sega Master System until 2005/2006!
I've sold my collection twice before (mainly because I had nowhere to display it) but now I have a dedicated games room and a full euro set of Master System games along with all the card/kixx and one off a full classic set!

Hi, I'm me and I live in a not-so-small town in Texas that still thinks it is a small town even though it isn't anymore. Around here a lot of people yell "whoop" whenever the color maroon is brought up or somebody goes to the ATM.
Anyway, I bought my Master System as my first game console when I was eleven with lawn mowing money. I had recently become an Arcade nut and once I saw that it had After Burner and the 3D Sega Scope glasses I knew what to choose.

Hello everyone! I'm Bazoo. I am currently a student, in my third year at University. I want to be a math and science teacher, possibly in an inner city school--and after undergraduate work, intend to get a Master's degree in the realm of education, ESL, or math education. I've conjectured that it would take about 50 +/- 5 licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop, based on saliva quantity. Perhaps I'll run an experiment one day.
It's time to come clean: I was an NES kid growing up. However, about 1.5 years ago, I purchased a Sega Genesis Model 1 with a Converter Base, later ordering Wonder Boy in Monster Land. As soon as I played the latter game, I instantly fell in love. Since then, I've been slowly acquiring some of the more popular NA titles--my favorites are probably the Wonder Boys, Penguin Land, and Golvellius. Then, boom, one day I saw an inexpensive Master System in a game store, and it was mine. I was just as excited as the guys in the video.
Considering I'm in college, I am a bit of a modest collector, but I'd like to get into some of the EU releases at some point. I'm glad to be here!

Hey yo... I'm Allan - some of you might know me from sega8bit, been a collector for a lot of years and from Paisley in Scotland. I'm a University lecturer (law), currently debating whether to stay in the line of work or move on... Other than that, I take part in a lot of sports (mainly running, football, tennis and golf), and just do other normal stuff like holiday, films etc. No tootsie rolls since I'm outside the US - the US really do have weird names for sweets (candy) don't they??

Hey,
Name's Brian, turning 39 in about two weeks and will be celebrating this glorious event at the Soundgarden concert since they finally decided to get back together and release an awesome new album. I am lead tech in a data center in Chicago where I live. Been collecting since the Pong days but pick and choose what to own. I have pretty large collection of SMS and Colecovision but have sold off alot of my stuff for space and neatness. Spare time from work I like to play hockey, run/bike/gym, go to one of our many local arcades and if I can stop procrastinating, I would love to start/join a retro game podcast. Favorite SMS is Alex Kidd in Miracle World tied with the Wonder Boy series. First got an SMS after saving up for three months on my paper route when I was younger. Loved the NES but that first commercial for the SMS...Had to have it and have been one of it's biggest fans since. You can find me on XBL: Swerve City or on the WiiU: Swerve_City.
Thanks for reading !

Hi everyone,
My name is Phil, I work in manufacturing for a profession and have hobbies that include bodybuilding, nutrition, sports (NFL, NCAA Men BB, Golf) and love guitar-oriented melodic hard-rock and neoclassical music. Recently turned 38 and while I don't have much in the way of a VG collection (Pretty much bought and sold/traded-in as I went) I am satisfied enough with just experiencing the industry at its' exuberant peak (My perspective of course) which was the mid-eighties through the late-nineties, and I like to reminiscence about the era sometimes. At the present I don't spend a lot time gaming unless it is a throwback style to the aforementioned times; I'm working through Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky for PSP currently, which has been sitting on my shelf for about a year until I finally has ample time to get into it.

Whats up, names Retroman. Also a member over at digetpress. I am from MD, and been a Mastersystem fan since 1987 when I first got one. This site looks good, and I hope has a bright future for us all.

Hey everyone. I'm Slutty. I'm a physics student as of now and work at a butcher shop. I'm thinking about doing some studying on film making as well. Besides video games, like jessie, I too am a Godzilla collector, probably my favorite thing in the world. Maybe we can do some trading or something one day. I also really like beer and trying all different kinds. If there are any beer enthusiasts out there we can talk about that. I'm a big pc gamer as well as retro. My favorite retro consoles include the Genesis/Mega Drive, Atari 2600, and probably ps1 if that counts. Nice to be here from the start and I hope to see the site start booming.

Hey, my name is Joakim, I'm from Sweden. I work as an opera singer and a professional musician. I used to be a regular on Shinobiman's forum a lot about... 8 years ago? I used the nick Psychoman. The Sega Master System will always be a part of me because I have recurring dreams where I'm in a second hand store looking at new weird titles. I was raised up in a small village where everyone had Psycho Fox. I have a collection of about 50-100 games, three consoles, and the sweet Rapid Fire SG Commander controller. (Can't finish Rocky without it). I'm a pro at Alex Kidd in Shinobi World, I love it. I'm also deep into the mythology of the Master System universe and I think it's awesome how many games have connections, like enemies or worlds.

Hi all! I'm Vinnie. I live in NC in an itty bitty, teeny tiny town in the middle of nowhere. Because of this, My experience with games growing up was pretty limited. I had an NES and I used to play the Genesis at my friend's house and that was pretty much it until I got my first job and could buy games myself. I've been collecting retro systems for a couple of years and now that I've got most of the ones I really wanted, I'm starting to focus more on the games. I don't currently have a job, but my talent is writing and coming up with story ideas, so if anyone here wants or needs a collaborator, let me know. ;D
