When I was 13 I discovered Ben Heck's website about the VCSp (he was an unknown guy from Wisconsin back in 2000; I'm glad he got famous). Totally awesome.
I used to spend hours with the soldering iron modifying the old Xbox1 (not to be confused with Xbox One...WTF), and even once made an adapter to play 50-pin SMS games on a Japanese SMS. Last winter I even had some free time and had the chance to do a composite video out / power LED addition to my uncle's old 2600.
Today I've just received an order of Suzo-Happ buttons and joysticks and want to build some type of game cabinet this winter.
Have you done any projects? No matter how basic they are, please tell us.

I did a composite video out on my SMS II. I am not good at soldering but it works.
