I'm curious... just who owned this rather bizarre Master System game when it originally was released? Why did you buy it? Were you a fan of the show? Did you enjoy it? Just what could have possibly compelled you to own such a... I digress.
I'm just really curious about this title because it's such an oddity to have in ANY video game library. It's like owning a Full House video game. Just weird.

I never even knew it existed back in the day, I'd like to believe it was my guardian angel looking out for me.

There is a new classic game store here in Lubbock that has about ten Master System games. Most of them are common, but they did have Alf for $35 and I almost bought it. Since it didn't have the instructions I decided to pass on it though. I never played it or even knew it existed back in the day, but someday I will give it a go.

i have a copy on the way right now but I've tried to play it in emulation and it was just odd, bland, and just not that fun. I am curious to try it again once I have my real copy but we'll see.

Got it on eBay for $5 or so in 2004. I remember one night in May '04 the weather was perfect and all the windows in my parents' house were open. I was on the space scooter an inch away from winning the game at the top of the last screen when an enemy flew in and killed me on my last life.
DMX's voice then took over inside me and I yelled something extreme at the top of my lungs. My parents were PISSED. I still laugh about it to this day.

Oh the frustration of Alf! We want to do a video on this in the future, but it's got to be special.

As much as I hate censorship, I'll certainly have to modify part of what I said. Unfortunately all of the CRT TVs I know of were recycled a while back, but maybe I could borrow one from somewhere.

Could be awesome to see an video from you about Alf. I actually though Alf was a rare and expensive game, in USA (Wasn't it only released in North America?).

It is rare and was expensive for a while, but I managed to score it for cheap without an issue (by that year it was pretty well known that one could easily mod an Xbox and use it to emulate pretty much anything in their living room, which certainly brought down the retro game values). Alf was released only in the US.
I did get a camera recently. I no longer have any SMS stuff, but I'll see if I can find a control pad somewhere to use as a prop. Maybe I could make a couple of draft videos later this month, at least to share some ideas.
