I keep hearing all these great things about Game Over but I have to disagree with you on their prices are good. Some guys over at sega-16 were talking about what they picked up from there and I was shocked at how much they paid compared to some of the game stores here.

There may be regional differences in prices. I remember when I collected toys way way back, the distribution was crazy. One area would be swamped with a toy that was rare in other areas.

I don't think Alf is that bad. Back To The Future Part 2 is worse.

The real question is,would you buy it if you saw it in the wild?

Probably. At least around here, I never see SMS games in the wild, so if I found any at all, I'd pick 'em up regardless as long as it was one I didn't have already.

As I stated in the introduction thread, I am new to retro gaming. I would probably buy it as well. i actually only have a few games I held onto from my childhood. 1. Phantasy Star 2. Miracle Warriors 3. The Ninja 4. Golden Axe Warrior for the SMS, I also have Phantasy Star II - IV on the Genesis and that is about it. All of them are complete.

That is a good find; I remember seeing that in Sega Challenge Magazine about the mail in offer; despite Sega's hard sell I couldn't make the plunge at that time for a game I knew so little about; however had I understood that it was a compile game and loosely part of the Aleste series the decision would have been easier, but I was not familiar with Complie and Aleste until MUSHA for Genesis; my appreciation and fondness for shoot-em-ups did not really bloom until the start of the 16-bit era anyways.

How much was this find, ShinobiMan? You listed "value", but you didn't actually say for how much they sold it to you.

Just got home from Houston TX, I really liked the store! They have a special right now buy 2 get one free! So I picked up Sonic Adventures for my kids on Dreamcast, and Zillion, and Alien Syndrome for my Master System Collection, both CIB and a set of RCA jacks for my Gen 2! After my trade in I paid a whopping $5.38 out of pocket! Now mind you I did trade in a few Dreamcast games I never played and a Playstaion one game as welll as a Gamboy Advanced Game.

How much was this find, ShinobiMan? You listed "value", but you didn't actually say for how much they sold it to you. One of the stipulations they had in allowing us film there was that we don't show any prices. I'm going to stay true to my promise on that one. We still want to be on good terms!
